2. Authorised access

You may only use the services if you are an authorised user for a customer deployment, pilot environment, internal test, or approved partner workflow.

3. Acceptable use

• Use the platform only for lawful monitoring, analytics, reporting, and approved operational actions.
• Do not attempt to bypass permissions, interfere with customer infrastructure, or access data you are not authorised to view.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or redistribute proprietary software, data models, or deployment materials except where allowed by written agreement.

4. Customer responsibility

• Customers are responsible for device installation, credential management, user provisioning, and local operational approvals.
• Control actions, alert workflows, and escalation policies must be reviewed by the customer before production use.
• Customers must ensure that site operators are trained to use monitoring and control features safely.

5. Availability and changes

We may improve, modify, or discontinue features as part of product development, security hardening, or customer-specific delivery. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency interventions when needed.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website content, product copy, design assets, source code, documentation, and software components created by Data Sailors are protected by intellectual property laws and remain our property or the property of our licensors.

7. Confidentiality

Customer telemetry, site metadata, deployment diagrams, and configuration details may be confidential. You must not disclose or misuse confidential information obtained through the platform.

8. Warranties and liability

The services are provided on an "as available" basis, subject to customer contracts and applicable law. Data Sailors is not responsible for losses caused by misuse, unauthorised configuration changes, customer network failures, or actions taken outside agreed operating procedures.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if use violates these terms, compromises security, breaches contractual obligations, or is otherwise unauthorised.
